 Should Cell Phones be Allowed in School?

In my EDUC 1300 I conducted some research on the use of cell phones in school. Through out my research I found out that the use of cell phones has became a distraction in school. Students tend to use their cell phones to text during class or take emberassing pictures of their peers to bully them in school. Although cell phones serve as a distration in school, but they also help out students academic success. Students can use their cell phones to look up any additonal information they want for the lecture being gone over in class. Cell phones also allows students to look up videos or documentaries over what is being gone over in class. Cell phones are also resourceful they allow students to use the calculator for math problems or the internet within the cell phone to do research for a research paper.
